Dear Colleagues,
We are pleased to invite you to the 17th European Colorectal Congress of St. Gallen, 3-6 December 2023. We have enriched the scientific programme with keynote lectures focusing on:
- Diverticular diseases
- Endometriosis
- Malignant colorectal disease
- Robotic surgery
- Scientific lectures
Selected international experts and opinion leaders will share and discuss the latest knowledge in the field of colorectal surgery. More than 40 scientific lectures from the best international speakers will cover most of the hot topics in colorectal surgery. Expect the best in professional education and practical knowledge for every clinical need.
Back by popular demand, we have included the Live Surgery session on Wednesday 6 December. Colorectal surgeries will be broadcast directly from the operating theatre of the Kantonsspital St.Gallen. Participants will have the opportunity to ask the surgeon questions about the procedure and discuss it with him. During the breaks, due to the changing time of the surgery, videos will be played and commented by the authors. A highlight of the day will be the Lars Pahlman Lecture and the Honorary Lecture.
Following the success of last year’s event, we will again offer a hybrid platform that seamlessly brings together onsite and online attendees, allowing for even more interaction between participants.
On Sunday, the main scientific programme will be preceded by our well-established Masterclass in Colorectal Surgery and the popular Proctology Day which will focus on didactic aspects and current evidence, with extended discussion between faculty and audience.
New this year:
- Robotics Course
- DavosCourse@ECC
- Basic Course
- Advanced Course
The courses focus on didactic aspects and the latest findings, with extended discussions between the faculty and the audience.
You can find all the information on the Congress website
See you next December in St. Gallen.
